Where I'm At, What I'm Up To

I am currently at home in southern Oregon, writing and doing local storytelling performances and workshops. I am also working with Tish McFadden on her Upriver to Morning project.

Welcome to My Digital Home

I created this website in 1997 as a way to promote my storytelling programs as well as provide free and accurate resources on native cultures. Through images and words, I hope this website provides a vibrant and in-depth gaze into the rich native traditions of my homeland of southern Oregon and northern California, from Old Time to Present Time.

I continually saunter through this region, sharing and teaching native stories as well as visiting native sites and listening to the locals tell their stories. I'm a listener and a watcher. I'm also a reader, studying texts, field notes, native literature.... And I share what I have discovered here. This website is a story, my digital home of images and words.

DotyCoyote.com is a dynamic site with over 1600 pages. New pages are added and older pages are revised ... frequently! Updates are listed below.
