Welcome! The Doty Family Archives was created by my father Shirrel Doty, and currently includes thousands of photos and documents. I inherited the Archives in 2009, and am the current caretaker.

This online version of the Archives is a long term labor of love. I scan old photos, write up family stories, and one by one my ancestors make their appearances in our digital age.

Both my father's family (Doty) and my mother's family (Daugherty) are represented in the Archives. Here's a few names to get you started....

Roscoe is my paternal grandfather Roscoe Levi Doty (b. 1891).
Blanche is my paternal grandmother Blanche Winnifred Rodgers (b. 1898).
Shirrel is my father Shirrel Rodgers Doty (b. 1919). He has one brother Irwin Roscoe Doty (b. 1917).

Fred is my maternal grandfather Frederick Armstrong Daugherty (b. 1889).
Maude is my maternal grandmother Ama Maude Arnold (b. 1891).
Fredene is my mother Fredene Ama Daugherty (b. 1921). She has three sisters: Frances Leona Daugherty (b. 1915), Edith Carolyn Daugherty (b. 1917) and Betty Jean Daugherty (b. 1923).

Tommy is me, Thomas Frederick Doty (b. 1952). I have one brother David Rodgers Doty (b.1947). Dave has two children, Esther Marie Doty (b. 1967) and Frederick Rodgers Doty (b. 1973), and I have a daughter Irina Ann Doty (b. 1979).
