This ancient Northern Paiute site on a series of rimrocks in the eastern Oregon desert documents a seasonal camp for hunting and fishing, and a place for ceremonies. One of the rocks says: "When we arrive here, we stay at the hollow places (caves or rock shelters) to escape the heat or the cold."
